The first time I ever went out to a motocross track to watch a race, I noticed that a majority of the riders were wearing Alpinestars Boots. At the time, I didn't know if it was because that was the only brand around, if it was the most affordable, or what. All I knew was that nearly everyone was sporting footwear with that a-star logo.

So it should come as no surprise that when I decided to actually race motocross instead of just watch it, I immediately thought of buying Alpinestars boots. Now, I didn't make this decision just for the sake of going along with the crowd.

I talked to plenty of guys who had been racing for a long time, and most of them had been using Alpinestars boots for their entire careers. I heard a lot of talk about the excellent quality, durability, and comfort of the product, which were all important considerations for me. Most of the people I talked to were happy with their Alpinestars boots and thought they were definitely worth the money.

Speaking of money, I was a bit discouraged after I saw how much Alpinestars boots cost. The newest Tech 10 model would cost me almost an entire week's salary. Even older models, such as the Tech 6 or Tech 8, were still pretty pricey compared to other brands.

I tried a pair on anyway, and couldn't believe how well they fit and how comfortable they were right out of the box. I asked the clerk at the store if I could get a discount or if there were any sales coming up, but he said they rarely put Alpinestars boots on sale because there's so much demand for them at any price.

When I got back home, I decided to try looking up some motocross gear websites just to get a quick price comparison. I was lucky enough to find several sites selling Alpinestars boots for far less than what I saw in the stores.

I even found a couple of sites that featured low-price guarantees and price matching policies, which further ensured that I would get a good deal on Alpinestars boots. Needless to say, I didn't waste any time in ordering the pair I wanted. Even with shipping costs added in, I ended up saving a good chunk of change.

I've been using my Alpinestars boots for a couple of months now, and I have to say that I really like them. They're holding up well, they provide great protection, and best of all, they look cool with the rest of my gear!
